Hi Nic

Just listened to HGP 99 and would like to say I think the great man would have appreciated the show.

I am now in my mid 40\'s and listened to John from about 1975 onwards. I have great memories of listening to his show using one of those single earphones pluges into a transistor radio so that my mum didn\'t know I was still awake. In my teens, I used to fall asleep nearly every night before the midnight finish.

I can remember hearing bands like UB40, Sex Pistols, Clash, John Cooper Clarke, Kraftwerk.....etc for the first time on his show.

Only John could play a track from some choir from Hungary and then follow it up with some drum & bass. Genius.

Anyway a great tribute you have produced here Nic.

I\'m now of to listen to HGP 100.

Happy New Year
